Inertial measurement units, flight computers and algorithms for flight control of rockets and guided systems.
Quote per programme
Our guidance, navigation and control (GNC) team develops the entire flight-control chain, from algorithm design to hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) tests.
Areas
- Inertial measurement units with MEMS and fibre-optic gyros
- GNSS-aided navigation and resilience to signal degradation
- Flight software: real-time, DO-178C-like processes
- Six-degree-of-freedom (6-DoF) simulation and HIL test laboratory
Application
Our common GNC platform is adapted to different configurations for sounding rockets, launch vehicles and guided munitions.
Scope of service
- MEMS and fibre-optic gyros
- GNSS-aided navigation
- 6-DoF simulation

Frequently asked questions
Do you offer satellite launch services?
Currently we fly scientific payloads with the SR-8 sounding rocket. The first orbital launch with the ÜF-250 is planned for 2029. In the meantime we offer rideshare launch integration services.
How can a university join an SR-8 campaign?
The campaign is announced each January. Applications are made with a form covering mass (max. 35 kg), power and data requirements, plus a scientific rationale. There is no application fee; integration cost starts at ₺1.2 million per experiment.
Why are the technical specifications of your products shared only in part?
For defence products, detailed technical data is shared only with authorised institutions after an eligibility review, as required by export control legislation. General presentation information is on this site.
Can third parties use your test facilities?
Yes. We provide hourly or project-based services for vibration, thermal vacuum, shock and static firing tests. Test plans comply with ECSS and MIL-STD requirements.
Is a security clearance required for internships and jobs?
Yes. A security clearance and background check is carried out for all positions. The process takes 4–8 weeks on average.
